LE-580FX in TAP mode does not affect the measurement target line. But when only the one side of the ports of LE-580FX is linked, the port of LE-580FX outputs packets sent from the connected PC, because LE-580FX acts in TAP mode when both A and B ports are linked.
When you monitor the line between a network (such as a hub) and a network device, connect the device and the LE-580FX first and then connect the network and the LE-580FX to avoid the unnecessary packet transmission.
