LINEEYE CO., LTD.
Guide on Updating the Firmware of LE-8200 (version 1.08)
LINEEYE has released the latest firmware (ver1.08) of LE-8200.
The latest firmware is able to measure the HDLC/SDLC data of Manchester code. It also solves some of the serious bugs. If you have been using the ex-version, please update to the latest version.
[ Update Information ]
- Able to measure the HDLC/SDLC data of Manchester code.
Add the Manchester0 and Manchester1 beside NRZ, NRZI, FM0, FM1 in the selections of HDLC/SDLC data format.
Necessary patterns to synchronize.
Measurement conditions of Manchester code
- Need to have more than one byte of 55h/AA or more than one leading flags before the starting flag.
- Need to have more than 2data of mark status after the ending flag.
- Cannot send the test frame with 55h/AA data before the starting flag.
- Bug correction
- Correct the bug of mis-counting the date of timestamp when measuring data for a couple months (Timestamp will be incorrect when measuring into the another month.) Timestamp will be correct when turning off the power of the analyzer.
- Correct the bug of auto-saving. When there is not enough capacity in the CF card, there will be some corrupt auto-saving files and become
error. It will not happen when specifying the size and numbers of
auto-saving file within the capacity of CF card.
- Correct the bug that analyzer cannot measure frames when HDLC/SDLC
starting flag is also used as ending flag.
- Correct the bug that configuration speed of RD is applied to the SD
speed, when setting the STS clock at the DCE simulation.
- Correct the bug that analyzer measure data in duplicate when
full duplex. (This is rarely happens.)
- Correct the guide message in Enlighsh. "1:Stop" is changed to "1:Count"
at "Action" of the Data Retrieval function.
