LE-580FX version

The latest version of LE-580FX firmware and software are :

• LE-580FX firmaware Ver1.5
• LE-580FX Window Ver1.1.2
• LE-580FX QoS Ver1.1.0

LE-580FX Window Ver1.1.2 and LE-580FX QoS Ver1.1.0 only supports WinPcap Ver4.0.2. If you have LE-580FX Window Ver 1.0.4 (or below) and LE-580FX QoS Ver 1.0.1(or below),it supports only WinPcap3.1beta3.

Also, LE-580FX firmware Ver1.5 can be used only with LE-580FX Window Ver1.1.2 and LE-580FX QoS Ver1.1.0. If you have LE-580FX firmware Ver1.4 (or below), you can only used with LE-580FX Window Ver 1.0.4 (or below) and LE-580FX QoS Ver 1.0.1 (or below). LE-580FX firmware Ver1.5 cannot be used with LE-580FX Window Ver 1.0.4 (or below) and LE-580FX QoS Ver 1.0.1 (or below).
If you are using LE-580FX firmware Ver1.4 (or below),please upgrade the firmware to Ver1.5.

How to upgrade

LE-580FX Window v1.1.2 Setup.exe (11609KB)
LE-580FX QoS v1.1.0 Setup.exe (8665KB)

1. Uninstall all LE-580FX Window, LE-580FX QoS, and WinPcap.
   
   
2. Install LE-580FX Window Ver1.1.2. At the same time, WinPcap Ver4.0.2 will be installed.
   
   
3. Connect LE-580FX to a PC, and open the LE-580FX Window.
   
   
4. Click [menu]-[Tools]-[FPGA Download] in the LE-580FX Window.
   Following dialog will be appeared. Input [ QJY778G8BD ] and click “Ok”.
   
   
   
5. Following dialog will be appeared. Click and open the firmware file.
   
   The firmware file “FPGA_Ver_1_5.pof” will be saved in the “C:\Program Files\LINEEYE\LE-580FX\LE-580FX Window\FPGA” if you choose the default.
   
   
6. Click “Download” to start upgrading.
   
   
7. If you find the dialog below, you have completed the upgrade.
   Click “OK” and LE-580FX Window will be closed automatically. Take out the LE-580FX from a PC. Connect LE-580FX to a PC again and start the LE-580FX Window.
   
   
   
8. Go to LE-580FX Window [menu]-[Help]-[About] and check the version information.
   
   • LE-580FX will not work correctly if you fail to upgrade LE-580FX correctly.
   
   
9. Please follow the instruction of LE-580FX QoS Ver1.1.0 display if necessary.
