LINEEYE Co., Ltd. released a new firmware (V1.12) for the line monitors LE-8500X/LE-8600X series. If you have been using the ex-version, please update it to the latest version.

1. Supports 2.5GbE (2.5GBASE-T) measurement (LE-8600X / LE-8600XR)
   

   The 2.5GbE measurement mode has been added to the LE-8600X/LE-8600XR (which can measure 10GbE and 1Gb).

   Using the optional dedicated SFP module (LE-2G5-BT-45), you can capture 2.5GBASE-T communication. ^*
   Test packets can also be output at wire rate using the PG function.

2. Added a function to reproduce delay/packet loss (LE-8500X / LE-8500XR and SB-GE2)

   The network emulation function has been added to the LE-8500X/LE-8500XR (which can measure Ethernet communications of 10BASE-T to 1000BASE-T), to reproduce and test poor networks that cause delays and packet loss.
   You can set the delay time and other settings with simple operations on the main unit screen, and you can also use this unit as a standalone line delay simulator.

   You can record, display, and perform statistical analysis in real time while inserting delays, etc.
   You can also capture each frame twice, before and after inserting a delay, and check the execution results frame by frame.
