Signal Isolated and Built-in AC Power

LINEEYE CO., LTD. releases the new interface converter “SI-65FA/ SI-65-FA-L”, which isolates the signals and AC power. Also, it has the built-in AC power.

[ Background ]

LAN<->RS-422/485 interface converter “SI-65/ SI-65A” is widely used in the field of factory automation, solar power generation, and power supplying facility for automobile. Because RS-422/485 communication can transmit data over a long distance, it is commonly used in the large facility to control automation system. Thus, lighting surge protection and other liability functions are required.
SI-65FA/ SI-65FA-L is the sister model of SI-65, adding the function of signal isolation and AC power isolation. Embedded Lantronix XPort on the LAN interface and auto control of RS-485 driver are equipped as previous model. Photo-coupler between LAN and RS-422/485 isolates the signals, and isolation transformer protects between signals and AC power. Also, it has the built-in AC power supporting AC100 to 240V.

SI-65FA-L includes the wall bracket to install it on the wall.

3. 10Base-T/ 100Base-TX auto detection. Supports TCP/IP, UDP/IP etc.
4. Selects RS-422/485 (Full duplex/ Half duplex) and terminal control ON/OFF by DIP switches.
5. Has RS-485 auto communication control with Flow control on XPort.
6. Solid, metal enclosure and noise resistance. Optional 35mm DIN rail plate are available.
