OP-SB7XC
The use of CAN FD, the next-generation high-speed CAN standard, has begun, and the in-vehicle LAN standard CXPI from Japan is also receiving a lot of attention. OP-SB7XC is an interface expansion set which can transform LE-3500XR and LE-2500XR into stand-alone analyzers for CAN (ISO 11898), CAN FD (ISO11898-1:2015) and CXPI (JASO D015) monitoring and field tests.

Easy setup
The firmware is pre-installed and can be used as a stand-alone analyzer for in-vehicle communication by simply replacing the interface board.

Accurate real-time monitoring of CAN FD and CPXI
2 channels simultaneous real-time monitoring is available
It can simultaneously monitor two channels by freely combining CAN (CAN FD) and CXPI.

Supports CAN FD up to 5Mbps
It can monitor and record CAN/CAN FD communication frames of 125kbps to 5Mbps in the capture memory together with the time stamp of the minimum resolution of 1µsec. Since communication data is acquired by the measurement FPGA, all communication frames are accurately captured and displayed, unlike CAN monitors that use CAN controller ICs that cannot display ACK error frames.

Supports in-vehicle LAN standard "CXPI" from Japan
It can monitor CXPI communication frames which consists of request ID and response data. The communication frame is displayed in one line, and all data exceeding 8 bytes can be displayed in a separate display field.

You can check the time stamp, channel, ID, communication frame type, data length (DLC), communication frame status (St), data (hexadecimal display), and CRC value (FC).

Captures specific frames by ID filter and trigger function
Records only the data of interest by the ID filter
Many ID data flows on the line where many nodes are connected. If you set the ID filter and narrow down the IDs of the communication nodes to be surveyed, the analysis efficiency will be dramatically improved.
Trigger function
Up to 4 sets of trigger conditions and actions after the conditions are met can be specified. As it can use a trigger by the condition of an external signal and the sequential judgment in which the trigger condition 2 is validated when the trigger condition 1 is satisfied, it is useful for the intermittent failure analysis.

For the action which executed when the trigger is met, you can specify buzzer sound, measurement stop, data saving before and after trigger, timer/counter operation, enable/disable of specified trigger, CAN frame transmission, external trigger output.

Up to 5 types of typical PGN and SPN parameters of J1939-71 (Rev.2003-12) can be converted into physical quantities and displayed.

Record the external signal voltage of 4 lines simultaneously with communication data
Since the voltage of the external signal of 4 lines and its TTL level logical value can be measured together with the communication data, it is useful when you see the relationship between the control value of the actuator such as a motor or sensor and the communication data (command or response).
Simulation function as a communication partner in the early stages of development
You can register the send data and send the test frame by a simple operation.
Periodic transfer simulation which can mix CAN FD and CAN communication frames
At the same time, up to 16 types of CAN or CAN FD communication frames can be mixed and transmitted at arbitorary cycle.

You can set a sweep setting which automatically changes a part of the communication data at an arbitrary rate of change. It serves for checking how the behavior of the actuator under test changes in response to changes in communication data.
- Initial: Set the initial value of the data to be swept in decimal (-32768 to 65535).
- Time1: Set the time (0 to 999999 ms) to change from the initial value to the first target value (Value1).
- Value1: Set the first target value (Value1) in decimal.
- Time2: Set the time (0 to 999999ms) to change from Value1 to the second target value (Value2).
- Value2: Set the second target value (Value2) in decimal.
- Time3: Set the time (0 to 999999 ms) to change from Value2 to the third target value (Value3).
- Value3: Set the third target value (Value3) in decimal.

Simulates CXPI master and slave nodes
You can register up to 16 types of request IDs and response data and it can become a master node or a slave node for event trigger method and polling method simulations. You can freely set the transmission cycle and transfer number of times of request ID, and bit-wise inter-byte space.
The response data also supports burst frame data, sweep of a part of data, CT auto increment, etc. It offers flexible testing.

Convenient functions that maximize development efficiency
Supports logic analyzer analysis
With a time resolution of up to 50nsec it can display the timing waveform of the communication line logic status (C1D, C2D), VBUS status (C1V, C2V), external signal and external trigger input status (D1~D4, TRG) of each channel.

Data search and counting function
From the measurement data, it can efficiently search for communication frames containing specific data, frames recorded with a time stamp in the specified range, and count the data which matches the conditions.

Useful PC link software provided free of charge
You can download the PC link software LE-PC7XCL (light version) free of charge from the Line Eye website. Measurement data can be displayed, searched, and converted into text on a personal computer. With the optional LE-PC7XCL (product version), CAN/CAN FD/CXPI measurement data can be recorded continuously in a PC storage for a long time.
