Guide on Updating the Firmware of CAN/LIN Expansion Kit “OP-SB87” (Version 1.05) for LE-8200

LINEEYE has released the latest firmware of CAN/LIN expansion kit, “OP-PC87” for LE-8200. If you have been using ex-version, please update it to the latest version.

1. About Update Information

[Improvement / Addition]

• Improve the sampling speed of Wave Monitor function up to 100MHx. Able to set “10ns” for sampling clock at Wave Monitor configuration.
• Able to measure the form errors of CAN data frames in the CRC and ACK fields. Displays form error as “F” in the status screen. Furthermore, it will be displayed as “F” after convering into text format.
• Able to search data frame by setting ID. Moreover, “DLC=0” (no data, ID only) can be searched.

[Bug Correction]

• Correct the bug that CAN frames are recognized as ACK errors.
• CRC error was displayed as [E] in the status display. Change the character [E] to [C].
• Correct the bug that “Ch1 & Ch2” is always selected as receiving channels at the Remote search function.
• Correct the bug that all remote frames are selected as target frames at Remote search function.
• CRC upper byte and lower byte of CAN data frames were displayed in opposite after converting into text format.
• D1 to D4 logic state are set in opposite in the Wave monitor function
• Correct some minuer bugs of Configuration guide.
